I’m not sure where I found this recipe but its a choc craving fix favourite. Quick, easy and so tasty.
1coffee mug (microwaveable)
A set of measuring spoons
2 tablespoons of butter or oil of your choice
2 tablespoons hot water
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract or vanilla essence
A pinch of salt
4 tablespoons of sugar or 2 tablespoons of dark chocolate ( if you are on the sugar crusade use sweetener instead)
2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
4 tablespoons of flour (you can substitute in gluten free flour if you need)
Mix wet ingredients in cup and then stir in dry ingredients with a butter knife.
Microwave on high for 60seconds and enjoy.
You can always get creative and add in dried fruit or nuts or even chunks of chocolate. You can serve however you please. Maybe with cream, fresh home-made probiotic yoghurt, caramel sauce or even berries or a berry sauce.
Simply delicious on a cold winters night.
If you are wanting to serve as a dessert for guests make in ramekins and serve with home-made vanilla bean ice cream and some salted caramel peanut brittle.
